Concerns over the preparation of the MK 2023 budget

At a joint meeting, the leadership of the Association of Professional Theatres and the Association of Independent Theatres of the Czech Republic stated their deep concern about the signals emerging in connection with the preparation of the Ministry of Culture's budget for 2023.

Theatre professionals trust that the government will adhere to its Program Statement. They also expect the fastest possible progress in preparing legislative changes that will have indirect positive economic impacts on the cultural sector.

The common priority is the Act on Public Cultural Institutions and the Status of the Artist.
