PR Workshop - Sustainability, Labor Relations and the Environment

The last meeting of the working group of PR workers of member theatres took place in Brno in December 2024, as part of the Association's general meeting. The topic was SUSTAINABILITY and its potential for communication.

We shared our experiences with ecological projects. We also see sustainability as a topic of quality of the working environment and interpersonal relationships.

We discussed a joint proposal for a CODE OF ETHICS for theaters.

Most theatres are moving away from print (unsustainable) advertising and are shifting a large portion of their marketing budgets to online and digital. We try to have local suppliers for the buffets/bars for the audience and as manufacturers of our gift items.

Another topic was THEATRE NEWSPAPER REFORM. The new editor-in-chief, Jana Machalická, participated as a guest and presented her vision of the transformation of the specialist media and formulated possibilities for cooperation for individual theatres.
