Workshop for (not only) economists on taxation of foreign artists

On Wednesday, April 24, a regular training for economists and production staff took place, this time on the topic of taxation of foreign artists in the Czech Republic, led by Ms. Magdalena Výškovská. The main topics of the workshop were who is and is not a publicly performing artist, what is the difference between tax residents and non-residents, how the Income Tax Act works, which countries have concluded agreements preventing double taxation, what are the rules for withholding tax, how is it reported and accounted for, and what is the situation with licensing fees.
