The attacks by Russian terrorists on civilian objects and Ukrainian infrastructure, especially on electricity grids, are an expression of the most miserable human meanness, cowardice and barbarity that do not belong in the 21st century. The Ukrainian people are coping with many hours of power, heat and water outages with admirable heroism. The footage of doctors operating on a small child in Kiev with headlamps on their heads is breathtaking and speaks of the enormous determination and inner strength of Ukrainians. Let us help Ukraine overcome the winter and darkness. Let us each invest in purchasing one headlamp and one camping stove.
