Going to the theater and cultural events from Wednesday without a vaccination certificate
From February 10, 2022, it will not be necessary to prove vaccination or coronavirus infection to attend cultural events.
The new government regulation replaces the previous one, which was in effect since November 22.

From Wednesday, February 10, theater visitors will again only need a valid ticket for a specific performance to enter the auditorium.
"We definitely welcome the government's decision to waive checks on vaccination certificates or past illnesses at cultural events. It is a great relief for us both logistically and financially, because these checks were preventing part of the audience from entering the performance, and this had an impact on attendance.
We believe that audiences who have not been to the theater since last fall due to the aforementioned regulations will now make up for it.
"We will be happy to welcome them back to the auditorium," said David Gerneš, director of the Moravian Theatre.
Since November 22, only those who have presented a certificate of vaccination or a confirmation of having had a laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 disease at the entrance have been allowed to attend theater performances, after the prescribed isolation period has expired and no more than 180 days have passed since the first positive test. The new regulation will make the theater experience accessible to those who are not vaccinated. However, the obligation to enter the theater building only with respiratory protective equipment, such as an FFP2 or KN95 respirator without an exhalation valve, continues to apply. The exception is the consumption of drinks and food, which is in areas outside the auditorium.
