The Vinohrady Theatre is undergoing a massive renovation worth 2.7 billion

The Prague City Council will take over responsibility for the reconstruction of the Na Vinohrady Theater and will finance its repairs. In the first phase, it will invest 75 million crowns. The builders will reconstruct the technical parts and the theater building and build a rehearsal hall. The plan is also to create a new underground small stage for 150 to 200 spectators.

The Vinohradech Theatre was built in 1907 and has not yet been renovated. According to last year's estimate, its repairs are expected to cost 2.7 billion crowns.

The theater is a contributory organization of the capital city.
