Theatre Critics' Awards 2022
In a survey by the professional magazine Svět a divadlo, 84 critics voted by simple and direct choice. The awards, whose visual appearance was designed by designer Marie Štumpfová, were received by artists in eight categories. The main winners were Prague drama productions.

Last year's winning production was The End of the Red Man. The book by Nobel laureate Svetlana Alexievich with the same subtitle was adapted for stage performance by Daniel Majling. Director Michal Vajdička presented his first stage production of the text at the Divadlo v Dlouhé.
In the category of Male Performance, the Award was shared between Jan Vondráček for his role as a Soviet army veteran, ready to take the helm again, Major Alexeyev in The End of the Red Man, and Ivan Trojan as a fifty-something David dreaming of a Swedish troika in Zelenka's production of his own play Fifty.
Petr Zelenka, with his tragicomedy Fifty, written after the model of three previous successful titles (Stories of Ordinary Madness, Theremin, The Elegance of Molecules), once again easily dominated the category of First-Performed Czech Play for the Dejvické Theatre. Thanks to it, the Dejvické Theatre received the title of Theatre of the Year.
Two actresses – Anežka Šťastná and Zdislava Začalová – became Talent of the Year.
