The association received a promise from the Minister of Finance to support reduced VAT rates for streaming cultural events

The Association of Professional Theatres of the Czech Republic, as a member of Pearle* - Live Performance Europe, has asked the Minister of Finance, JUDr. Alena Schillerová, to support the proposal for a reduced (or possibly exemption from) VAT rate when revising Council Directive 2006/112/EC of 28 November 2006, including for streamed cultural events.

The matter will be discussed at the June Council.
