MgA. Zdeněk Pánek

He studied Humanities at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen and Production at the Theatre Department of the Academy of Performing Arts. During his studies, he managed the culture department of the town of Nejdek (until 2006). From 2007 to 2013, he headed the foreign relations of the JK Tyl Theatre in Pilsen.

In 2009, he became the executive producer of the largest Czech international theater festival DIVADLO.

Since 2013, he has been the head of the office of the director of the National Theatre in Prague.

He has been working in the Association of Professional Theatres since 2007, and has been its executive director since 2023. He represents the association in the Union of Employers' Associations, in the Council of the Czech ITI (International Theatre Institute) and in the working group of the Council for Economic and Social Dialogue at the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic.

The countries of Central and Eastern Europe and the Baltic States are represented on the executive committee of the Pearle - Live Performance Europe organization, which brings together more than ten thousand organizations active in the Performing Arts field from all over Europe.
