Ing. David Gerneš

A native of Prostějov, he graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the Prague University of Economics and also from the Prague Academy of Performing Arts, where he studied production. As a manager, he participated in the preparation of the Colours of Ostrava and Cirkus na lodi festivals.

He was a member of the project team for the opening and operation of the cultural space VILA Štvanice, where the Geisslers Hofcomoedianten ensemble also operates, with whom he collaborated intensively.

Since 2016, he has been the head of the Mikulovská rozvojová company, which organizes city cultural events, such as Divadelní Mikulov, Pálava Wine Harvest, or City Festivals, and also manages the city cinema and amphitheater.
