MgA. Daniel Hrbek

He graduated in acting and directing from the Department of Dramatic Theatre, then completed his doctoral studies at the Department of Theory and Criticism at DAMU.

He was a member of the acting troupes of the North Moravian Theatre in Šumperk, the Moravian Theatre in Olomouc and the Na zábradlí Theatre. In the mid-1990s, he founded the CD 94 Theatre Association with his classmates from DAMU, of which he was the artistic director.

At the turn of the millennium, he became the director of what is now the Švand Theatre.

He has been teaching at DAMU since 2007.
